Microworms are the perfect size newly-hatched fry, and are meant to feed fish that are too small to accept the traditional food such as pellet and flakes. This live food will move in the water which triggers the eating reflex of the baby fish. Microworms are essential a great start to a fry's healthy diet.

They can be used to feed betta fry, guppy fry, platy fry, corydora fry, Apistogramma fry, larval newts, small tadpoles and more!

It's important to plan when to start your culture, so that by the time your fry have hatched, there will already be a large quantity of microworms that will suffice the needs of your fry.

What you will receive is a ziplock bag of micro worms starter. This will be enough to start 2 cultures as per instructions.

Give it a go….worth it!

I ordered the Grindal and Vinegar Eel worms.
Hmmm……well I’m definitely not an expert worm keeper. First time attempt, I suppose 50% Grindal success is a good outcome.

a) Ordering on line, pricing, packaging(appropriate for local and cooler weather), delivery very fast(local), and the Worms arrived alive and healthy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
b) Grindal setup video was very helpful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
c) Grindal Instructions and Worm Maintenance this was a 3.5 for me ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌗. I was looking for more information. I do like a PDF file that I can refer to often.
d) The Vinegar Eels setup and information was the clearest and easiest for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Overall I recommend getting the worms and giving them a try.

PS I throughly washed my hands, used clean containers and new green pads. I think there was too much moisture in the mouldy one. The other ones lid did not fit properly, enabling more moisture to escape.

Microworms

The culture arrived in good time to help feed a valuable spawn of Discus . They are thriving thanks to the microworm culture.

Microworms are easy

This culture works brilliantly, and the fry thrive (watch out for hydra though). I'd recommend growing them in a few in plastic cups with lids, rather than Chinese food containers.
