Eucalyptus sessilis, commonly known as Finke River malleeis a species of mallee that is native to the Northern Territory and central areas along the border of Western Australia. It has smooth bark, sometimes with ribbon of old bark near the base, lance-shaped to egg-shaped or elliptical adult leaves, flower buds in groups of seven, creamy yellow flowers and hemispherical fruit. They come in an amazing variety of shapes and sizes.

Mallee pods also release a very pleasant smell when used in an system, this is somewhat unique as most botanicals do the opposite. They are roughly 1-2cm in diameter.

PREPARATION: You need to boil Mallee pods for at least an hour (sometimes a bit more) to really saturate them, because they do float when first immersed.

ORIGIN: Native to Australia we source ours from the Northern Territory

All our Australian Botanicals are pest and pollution free and are organically sourced.

NOTE: These are a natural product, and display variation in colour, size, and texture. Each pod is unique! The photo serves as a reasonable representation of what to expect.
