Weeping Moss
SCIENTIFIC NAME:Vesicularia ferriei.
COMMON NAMES: Weeping moss
Weeping moss is a popular, easy-to-care-for aquatic moss recognized for its unique downward, cascading growth, resembling a willow tree. It is ideal for attaching to driftwood or rocks in aquariums to create a lush, hanging, or "weeping" effect, thriving in low-to-medium light.
Queen Moss can be placed anywhere in the aquarium, making fantastic foreground features, midground focal points or on background hardscape.
Weeping Moss thrives in water temperatures (20-25°C) and benefits from occasional pruning to maintain its desired shape. It’s a hardy, slow-growing plant that adapts well to both high-tech and low-tech setups.
